VARESH R. PATEL, D.O.

Physician and Practice Owner

I have now been in practice for 18 years in the Orlando area. I received my undergraduate education at Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. I then went on to medical school at Kansas City University of Medical and Biosciences to later return to Orlando to complete residency at AdventHealth East. I was denoted as Chief Resident and was a member of the Primary Care Advisory Board at that time.

In addition to my dedication to medicine, I felt an important sense of duty to my country, for I held a position as Army Major for 9 years following medical school. This allowed me to gain excellent military experience. I currently hold clinical teaching positions at Florida State University and University of Central Florida College of Medicine.

I am board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and licensed through the State of Florida Board of Osteopathic Medicine. I hold active medical directorship positions with Blackstone Medical Services and a proud member of Primary Partners ACO.  I am the past president of the Indian American Chamber of Commerce.

I am the co-founder of Harmony Healthcare Orlando, which is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide all-inclusive treatment and preventive care to members of the community for PrEP, Hepatitis C, and HIV.  I am also a partner and founder of Covid Testing LLC.

LINDSAY PIET, PA-C

Physician Assistant

I completed my undergraduate education at University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology where I graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. While in attendance, I received Presidential Scholarship and recognition as Anderson Scholar for academic excellence in my specialty. I also received Presidential Service Award due to commitment to the community as I served as a crisis-intervention counselor for almost 5 years. I then went on to further my education at the University of Florida to earn my Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. I concurrently worked heavily in clinical research contributing to several different publications, regarding the impact of obesity in the emergency department, the impact of perfectionism and procrastination on psychological distress, and the effects of low health literacy in emergency services. As a result, patient education is an integral part of my practice.

I am board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed through the State of Florida Board of Medicine. I am an active member in American Academy of Physician Assistants and Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
